Mr. Buller brings experience and faith to Vice-Principal Role.
As Holy Cross Penticton students settle into their desks for the start of a new school year, they are joined by a familiar face in a new role: Trevor Buller has been appointed Vice-Principal.
Mr. Buller has been part of the Holy Cross community since 2018, serving as a dedicated and faith-filled educator. Now, he looks forward to bringing his passion and experience to this new position. “I feel blessed for the opportunity to further serve the CISND and catholic communities,” said Buller. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Molecular Biology from Simon Fraser University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Catholic Studies at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Since joining Holy Cross, Buller has contributed widely to both the school and parish communities. His IT expertise has enhanced the school’s use of technology, and his creativity in the classroom has led to new academic and elective offerings. Beyond the classroom, he coordinates youth ministry for the Catholic Parishes of Penticton, where his main youth group serves more than 50 young people and provides leadership opportunities for older teens.
“Trevor is passionate about helping students grow in their learning and their faith. His experience at our school, commitment to Catholic education, and community roots make him a wonderful fit for the Vice-Principal role,” said CISND Superintendent Pamela Guilbault. District Principal Robert Plaxton added: “Trevor’s dedication to building strong relationships with students, staff, and families has always stood out. We are excited to see how his leadership will continue to support and strengthen the Holy Cross community.”
Outside of school, Buller is a father to four daughters, and enjoys vegetable gardening, hiking, and deepening his knowledge of the Catholic faith.
