It was wonderful to see our SCALA Golf team in action at Penticton Golf and Country Club. The students enjoyed practicing and showed solid commitment to the game.

Our grade 8 and 9 classes from St. Carlo Acutis Legacy Academy thoughtfully prepared to present their interpretation of the Stations of the Cross. We were honoured to share this meaningful service with our parish and school community. Each student dedicated hours to understanding and embodying their role, striving to present the story in a reverent, emotional, and engaging way. We are excited to announce the newest class addition “Try a Trade” as part of our distinctive academic program. Our students will receive comprehensive instruction in various skills from the Okanagan College Trades Program Administrator, featuring a hands-on introduction to construction and artisanal trades.​ At SCALA we celebrate every student, offering enriched programming that reflects a variety of talents and interests. Grade 5 has been buzzing with learning! Students turned their classroom into a lively arcade, showcasing their understanding of complex machines through creative arcade games they designed themselves.

Our Foods elective class wrapped up last week with a fantastic multi course meal and sit down luncheon. On the menus were chili, corn bread, Greek salad, brownies and punch. No demo day for this one, just their own skills; reading recipes, working together and cooking it all on their own.
