Virtue of the Month
It was wonderful to come together as a school community for our Virtues Awards Assembly, celebrating the virtues of COMPASSION and RESPECT. Congratulations to all of our award recipients for demonstrating these values each day—we are so proud of you! Hands-On Learning at SCALA
Some snapshots of our students in action learning PEX plumbing connections! As part of SCALA’s distinctive academic program, students received expert instruction from the Okanagan College Trades Program Administrator, gaining hands-on experience and practical skills through an introduction to construction and artisanal trades. Learning Beyond the Classroom!
This week, our Grade 7 students took part in a hands-on learning experience as part of a multi-lesson program in partnership with the Okanagan and Similkameen Invasive Species Society (OASISS) and students from Oliver Elementary School. Students Embrace Nature
And they're off! Our Grade 8 and 9 students have headed to the Cheakamus Centre for their year-end Field School Program adventure. Through hands-on environmental learning, team-building activities, and place-based education, students will deepen their connection to the natural world while creating lasting memories. We can’t wait to see all the learning and discoveries that unfold throughout this immersive outdoor experience!

We’re proud to announce that Holy Cross School has been voted Best Private Elementary School in Penticton for 2026! We’re also honoured to receive Bronze in the Private High School category.
