Mastering Quilt Design & Creation
Grade 9 student, Ella Morrow, proudly displays the quilt she completed as part of the student directed programming being offered at Legacy Academy. Ella knew how to sew, but this was her first opportunity to learn about and implement the colour selection and math processes involved in designing and creating a full-sized quilt. This project took Ella approximately 20 hours to complete. Way to go, Ella!

Baking Christmas Cheer
As part of our schools outreach program during the Christmas season, students of all ages help those in need in the local community. Our middle school students have undertaken the task of baking delicious treats for local senior centres like the Hamlets, spreading Christmas cheer and the good news!
