As part of our schools outreach program during the Christmas season, students of all ages help those in need in the local community. Our middle school students have undertaken the task of baking delicious treats for local senior centres like the Hamlets, spreading Christmas cheer and the good news!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Some snapshots of our Drama elective class at the Christmas pageant practice. All the students are looking forward to delivering a heartwarming performance to our school community to celebrate the season’s spirit through their talents.

Last week we celebrated our School Mass with Father Neil, the Mass was led by our grade 6 students, commemorating Advent and the Christmas season. It was also an opportunity to present Holy Cross School and St. Carlo Acutis Academy with Jubilee Certificates from Rome. This certificate is a testimony of the pilgrim’s spiritual participation in the Jubilee in the Holy Year of 2025. Our thanks to Father Neil, the deacons, and families and friends who came to celebrate with us. W

Our students at St. Carlo Acutis Academy were selected as one of 10 exclusive classes across Canada to interact in a LIVE virtual connection with Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen before his Artemis II lunar mission. He will make history by becoming the first Canadian to fly around the Moon. The CSA partnered with Exploring by the Seat of your Pants, who expertly hosted the discussion and question-and-answer session with Jeremy. Our students enjoyed this fan
