A Dancer's Journey to Success

Maya attended Holy Cross School from kindergarten to grade eight, then moved on to Princess Margaret high school. She has many fond memories of Holy Cross School, including performing in a talent show, choir events, walkathons, Christmas concerts, the grade five haunted house fundraising for the grade 8 trip and going on the trip to Cheakamus, to name a few. During high school she was involved in the leadership program where she helped to provide school activities to promote school spirit as well as fundraise for various causes. 

She plans to pursue a career in dance, having attended a variety of dance conventions/workshops in other cities, including California and New York, and has competed in numerous group and solo competitions within B.C. She currently attends a post-secondary dance program in Vancouver.

She will always remember her time at Holy Cross School. She is thankful for the teachers, their guidance, and for making good friends for life.
