Ash Wednesday

At today’s Mass Father Neil celebrated Ash Wednesday, signifying the beginning of Lent. The word "ash" can be used in an acronym that reminds us of the meaning of this special day. "A" is for alms giving, 'S" is for sacrifice and and "H" is for humility. A time for reflection and preparation for Christ’s Resurrection at Easter.
