Exploring History on the Kettle Valley Steam Railway

What a fantastic day of learning and adventure for our Grade 4 class!

Last week, students stepped back in time with a ride on the Kettle Valley Steam Railway, connecting their Social Studies learning to the history of our region. Along the way, they discovered how railways helped shape and grow our local communities.

After the train ride, students enjoyed a picnic lunch at Memorial Park, followed by a delicious maple syrup tasting at Maple Roch. It was a wonderful day filled with history, hands-on learning and plenty of fun!
