Faculty Feature. Grade 1

​​Please meet ​​Mrs. Raymond, our grade 1 teacher at Holy Cross for over 15 years. Mrs. Raymond also manages our school library and runs our Scholastic book fairs.

She grew up in Penticton and spent her childhood mostly outside and in local arenas figure skating. After High School, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree and worked with youth aged 13 to 18. She later returned to school and obtained a Bachelor of Education. After teaching at various schools in the Okanagan, she began teaching at Holy Cross at the suggestion of Mr. Bernie Hopley. Mr. Hopley was a former principal of Holy Cross and also a former teacher of Mrs. Raymond.

She loves being a part of our staff and school community, and in particular enjoys working with primary aged children and sharing in their reading journeys.
