Faculty Feature. Grade 4

Please meet Ms.Tofin, our grade 4 teacher. She has been a teacher at Holy Cross for over 17 years. Encouraging her students to participate in community-focused projects that enrich both the school and the community has always been a passion of hers. For 16 years, she has organized the Christmas sale for Holy Cross, where her favourite part is helping students find the perfect family gift. She also co-organizes Multicultural Day, when students and teachers learn about the beautiful cultures that make up the Holy Cross community.

Ms.Tofin has always wanted to be a teacher. She received her education and arts degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and has also completed certificate programs in inclusive education and language and literacy from UBCO.

In her spare time, you can find Ms.Tofin, with her daughter, Woodjina, a grade one student at Holy Cross, and their dog, Prince, having adventures all over the Okanagan.

Ms Tofin is blessed to work at Holy Cross and is thankful for the support from the teachers, support staff and parents.
