Faculty Feature. P.E. Specialist

Please meet Mrs. Jamie Pond, our Physical Education specialist at Holy Cross promoting physical literacy through individual and small group games, personal fitness and team building activities.

Mrs. Pond obtained her undergrads in Physical Education and Corporate Fitness at Minot State University in North Dakota. While at university she was a member of the varsity soccer team for five years. She then began her Masters of Education at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, completing just before starting at Holy Cross. In recognition of her coaching abilities, Jamie was named the BC Soccer organization's Coach of the Year for 2022.

When she is not teaching you can find Mrs. Pond adventuring with her family - daughter Blayre and husband Bob, coaching soccer or being as active as she can through personal fitness, soccer and yoga! Her favourite aspects of the Holy Cross community are her colleagues and the close-knit family atmosphere.
