Faculty Feature. Physical Education Specialist

Please meet our K-8 PE Specialist, Melissa Hayden. Melissa graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education with a Mathematics specialty in 2006. She has worked in numerous schools including two private Christian schools and 3 different public school districts while raising her 4 children with her husband Ryan. Melissa has also been involved with coaching both in her schools and community since 2004. In her spare time she enjoys running, hiking and skiing. Melissa is grateful to join the community at Holy Cross this year and provide a fun and engaging PE curriculum for the students until Mrs. Pond’s return.
