Mathematical Skills and Critical Thinking

A few snapshots of our grade 5-8 students writing the Mathematica Centrum Contest. They are competing against many other students across Canada. Since 1990, the Mathematics Contest Centre has prepared some of the top mathematics competitions in North America.

Why is it important to participate in these contests? Because they are designed to improve the problem solving skills of our students and are an efficient way to develop lasting mathematical skills.
