Science Through Hands-on Discovery!

At Legacy Academy, we believe that the best way to inspire a love of science is through hands-on discovery!

Thanks to our partnership with Okanagan College and access to their state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, our grade 8 and 9 students engage in advanced, practical experiments every week.

Each Monday, students step into the lab to explore exciting areas of science—ranging from microscope work and chemical reactions to optics, electricity, and more. Alongside these engaging experiments, students learn proper lab safety, professional laboratory techniques, and advanced curriculum content that prepares them for success in higher-level science courses.

Guided by our dedicated science specialist, Mr. Buller, this program gives students the unique opportunity to experience science in a way that is both academically rigorous and deeply engaging—building confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for future learning.
