Time of Preparation to Celebrate Christmas

Today we came together as a school community to celebrate the start of the Advent season with Father Neil. It is a time of preparation to celebrate Christmas. Our Advent candlelight service was a beautiful and meaningful reminder to have our hearts full of hope and faith for the coming of Jesus. “Adventus” in Latin means arrival or coming and this year the first Sunday of Advent was December 1st. Today, the first purple candle of the Advent wreath was lit, symbolizing HOPE. Our guitar elective student performance during the ceremony was a stunning showcase of musical talent!
