Some snapshots of some delightful moments at the Mother’s Day Tea celebration held to honor the very special role Mothers have in our lives. It was wonderful to see the Holy Cross community united for our school Mass last Thursday at St. Ann’s in celebration of the Month of Mary. It was a joyful celebration with a heartwarming homily from Father Neil and beautiful hymns performed by our school choir. Thank you to our grade 1 students for their commitment and hard work that made this a very special Mass.

A wonderful display of confidence and mathematical thinking as our Math team took part in the Regional Finals of the BC Secondary School Math Contest. Created by Thompson Rivers University and Hosted by Okanagan College Kelowna, the contest is part of our Math enrichment program. Schools from Osoyoos to Salmon Arm sent finalists to this challenging competition, which featured both individual and team events. Students competed in Junior (Grades 8–10) and Senior (Grades 11–12)

The SCALA golf team gets out for their first round of golf after practising for weeks at driving ranges while they waited for great golf weather. Mrs. Cumberland even got to play along. It was a fantastic afternoon and we are looking forward to our next round!
