The perfect introduction to the wonderful world of acting. Students had the opportunity to attend the Charlie Brown play at Cleland Theater. Seeing live theatre leads to a better understanding of the importance of the plot, develops the ability to interpret emotions and increases vocabulary. Learning is fun beyond the classroom walls!

School assembly highlights - we celebrated and acknowledged the recipients of the virtue of the month, COURAGE and enjoyed a presentation to prepare for this month’s virtue; PATIENCE. Grade 9 student, Ella Morrow, proudly displays the quilt she completed as part of the student directed programming being offered at Legacy Academy. Ella knew how to sew, but this was her first opportunity to learn about and implement the colour selection and math processes involved in designing and creating a full-sized quilt. This project took Ella approximately 20 hours to complete. Way to go, Ella!
