A Farm Excursion Experience

Did you know that Goats have rectangular pupils? This shape allows them to have a wider field of vision than humans and other animals that have circular pupils. They can see 320-340 degrees around them, without having to move. Our excursion to GottaGoat Farm was a great way to learn valuable insights into the world of Goats, as well as animal care, nutrition, health and farm life. Students also had the opportunity to interact and learn about chickens and other animals who were brought to live at the farm by local animal rescue organizations. What a wonderful way to approach the end of the school year!
